COMPOSITION

Every 1 ml of Flunicon of contains:

(Flunixin) Flunixin Meglumine 50 mg

Phenol as preservative 5 mg

Product Indication

the alleviation inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders in horses .

the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic in horses.

control of acute inflammation associated with respiratory disease in cattle.

also be used as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of acute inflammation in cattle.

DOSAGE

For use in equine colic 1.1 mg / kg bodyweight equivalent to 1 ml per 45 kg body weight by intravenous injection.
Treatment may be repeated once or twice if colic recurs.
For use in musculoskeletal disorders 1.1 mg / kg bodyweight equivalent to 1 ml per 45 kg BW,
Inject once daily for up to 5 days according to clinical response.

The recommended dose rate is 22 mg /kg bodyweight equivalent to 2 ml per 45 kg
Repeat after 24 hours, interval up to 5 consecutive days.

Meat & offal 4 days
Milk : 1 day

Precautions

Store Flunicon in a dry place away from sunlight.
store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.

Do not permit water runoff from feedlots or production sites to enter lakes, streams, or ponds.

Overdose

There is no known specific antidote, if signs of possible overdose occur, treat the animal symptomatically.
