Tylosel

Tylosel tartrate is a macrolide antibiotic. It mainly acts on bacteria and interferes with bacterial protein synthesis. Tylose is formulated for the treatment of respiratory disease.

COMPOSITION

Every 1 ml of Tylosel of contains:

Tylosin (Tartrate) 200 mg

Benzyl alcohol

Product Indications

Pneumonia.

bovine respiratory complex.

In poultry Tylosel injection is indicated for treatment of CRD, infectious sinusitis and other secondary bacterial infections.

calf diphtheria.

mastitis, metritis and leptospirosis.

Clostridia, spirochetal and mycoplasma infection in domestic animals.

DOSAGE

1.5-2.5 ml/50 kg for 3 - 5 days.

1- 3 ml/50 kg for 3-5 days.

0.1-0.5 ml/10 kg for 3-5 days.

Meat: 07 days.
Milk: 96 hours.

Administration

Administer the previous Tylosel dose by
IM ( intramuscular )
SC ( subcutaneous )
Slow IV ( Intravenous injection ).
Temporary irritation and swelling may occur at Injection site.

Tylosel came with a pack size of 50, 100 ml.

Precautions

Store Tylosel in a dry place away from sunlight.
Use with care in animals with impaired renal function.
Consult the veterinarian before use.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Store below 25 degree centigrade in a cool place.

Overdose

There is no known specific antidote, if signs of possible overdose occur, treat the animal symptomatically.
